Nupur Parekh Flynn
Nupur Parekh Flynn is Managing Director/Co-Director of Marketing at Brown Capital Management (BCM), which she joined in 2004. Founded in 1983 by Eddie C. Brown, BCM is one of the oldest African American-owned investment management firms in the United States. BCM serves the nation's largest institutions and individuals through its separate accounts and mutual funds. Mrs. Flynn works with prospective clients to leverage the unique BCM platform and provide solutions to meet their needs; develop and understand relationships with consultants; and create cross-selling opportunities across products and services where appropriate. Prior to joining BCM, she spent four years as a marketing executive at the international law firm DLA Piper. Before joining DLA Piper, Mrs. Flynn spent three years as a political appointee at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), working in the Bureau of Legislative and Public Affairs. Mrs. Flynn earned a dual Masters Degree in European Studies and European Policy from the l'Institut d'Etudes Europeennes de l'Universite Libre de Bruxelles and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies at McDaniel College. She is a member of the Boards of Trustees of McDaniel College and HopeWell Cancer Support, and member, Dean's Advisory Council, Arts Division of the University of California, Santa Cruz. In addition, Mrs. Flynn is a member of the Junior League of Baltimore and The Center Club’s Wine Committee. She and her husband Guy E. Flynn live in Baltimore, Maryland.
