Tracy M. Wynter
Economics; Law Degree
Graduating at the top of her class from Willingboro High School in New Jersey, Tracy Wynter was honored with the Superintendent's Pride Award for academic excellence. Of Jamaican descent, she was recognized by the Jamaican Minister of Labor for her accomplishments in school and her initiative in the community.
Tracy's volunteer work has resulted in accolades from various organizations and testifies to her desire to improve her community. The Township of Willingboro, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the National Honor Society have all applauded her efforts with the elderly at the Masonic Home. She also played a key role in establishing a math help line to assist children whose parents are members of the Caribbean Association of Burlington County. One of Tracy's missions is to create a program that will expose youths from underprivileged backgrounds to professions in the medical field. She wants to share with them her firm belief that success is not exclusive to the wealthy but rather comes from hard work and determination.
Tracy is a student at Princeton University considering careers in law and politics. Last summer she interned at the law firm of Drinker Biddle & Reath. "By learning more about politics, law and government," she says, "I will be a more powerful person and better able to contribute to society."
