Bethany Dickerson Wynder

Beauvoir - the National Cathedral Elementary School

Bethany Dickerson Wynder currently serves as the Director of Outplacement and Community Outreach at Beauvoir - the National Cathedral Elementary School, located in Washington, DC.

She previously served as the Director of Admission & Financial Aid at Trinity Episcopal School located in Charlotte, North Carolina. Prior to that, she served as the Director of National Diversity Recruitment and Strategic Partnerships at City Year, Inc., a national youth service organization based in Boston, Massachusetts. She is the former director of the Ralph Bunche Societies, an international education and leadership program at Phelps Stokes. Bethany also served as a Policy Advisor with the U.S. Senate Democratic Policy Committee (DPC). While at the DPC, she worked on a range of domestic policy issues, including education. She has also worked as a grant writer in the development division of The New York Public Library, Thirteen/WNET New York, and the District of Columbia Public Schools.

Bethany is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from the University of Virginia and a Master of Public Policy degree from Georgetown University. Raised in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, Bethany happily lives in Washington, DC, with her husband and son.
