Ronnie Tisdale (RBS 2006) bases his lifelong pursuits on four tenets: scholarship, athleticism, entertainment and humanitarianism. A childhood full of national wrestling tournaments and track meets, traveling show choirs and special school projects combined with the strong values instilled in him by his hardworking parents gave him the enthusiasm to love the pursuit of success. Upon graduating from Perrysburg High School in Ohio, he had played for the USA Football Team in the Global Junior Championships X, sported a milk-mustache in ESPN and Sports Illustrated Magazines, was voted “Most Likely to Change the World” in USA Today for his service work in organizations such as Leadership Toledo and carried lead roles such as ‘The Wiz’ in musicals and plays.
He brought the same energy to Stanford University by achieving degrees in Human Biology and Drama while singing in a cappella groups, performing in musicals like RENT, playing for the Stanford and USA Rugby teams and working as a medical Spanish translator and a Haas Public Service Leadership Fellow. Having written and performed jingles for products and companies such as Pepto Bismol and JetBlue Airways, you might find his face on Dr. Pepper cans distributed around the country. Currently an MD/MPH student at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in NYC, when Ronnie isn’t preparing to become an emergency physician, you can find him singing, playing piano, acting or doing stand-up comedy in various clubs in NYC. See him in a short scene of Sacha Baron Cohen’s The Dictator or performing at RonnieTisdale.com.
