Dr. Robert B. Binswanger

Retired Dartmouth College Professor Robert Binswanger has been working on the resolution of critical problems in education for decades.   He has taught high school English and history, been principal of an inner-city public high school in Boston, directed the efforts of a citizens’ educational agency in Cleveland to improve city schools, and trained the first Peace Corps volunteers for duty in Africa.  In 1970 Professor Binswanger was invited to Washington to direct the Experimental Schools Program, a federal initiative.  The recipient of degrees from Harvard and Dartmouth, he has served on the faculties of both.   Mr. Binswanger has also served as Chairman of the Board of Hampton University.
